Basically, the platform allows you to set up your store, then gives you a piece of code that you can paste into WordPress, Wix, and other website builders. Your Ecwid online store will then be added to that website.
This is a great option if you already have a website and you simply want to add an eCommerce functionality.
The second option allows you to build and host your online store through Ecwid. For this, Ecwid gives you a free website builder you can use to create your eCommerce store from scratch.
Other compelling features you can expect from Ecwid’s cheapest plan are 70+ site templates and the ability to sell up to 5 products.
