How to add attachments to my messages?

In our new message editor, the best way to add an ebook (or any attachment) without affecting the message deliverability is to use direct links. To create those links, you’ll be using your Files and images section.

How to upload a file and create a link

  1. Go to Tools > Files and images.
  2. Click Add files.

  3. Drag your file, select it from the computer, or import it from URL.
  4. Choose to which folder the file should be added.

  5. Click Add.
  6. Hover your mouse over the 3 dots (vertical ellipsis) at the bottom of the file and click Copy URL.

How to hyperlink my button or text in the message

When you have your file uploaded and URL copied you can proceed with adding this link to your message. You can hyperlink it to your button or part of the text, to do so:

  1. In the message editor drag and drop the Button element.

  2. A menu will appear on the right side when you place or click on your button. Choose the Web address link type and paste your copied file link in the URL section. In this menu, you will also be able to adjust button text, color, style, and more.

To hyperlink a part of the text:

  1. Highlight a word or part of your text and click the Paperclip icon on the top bar.

  2. Choose the Web address link type and paste your copied file link in the URL section.

Legacy editor

In our legacy editor, you can add multiple attachments to your messages—up to a total of 400kB in attachments per message.

While you are creating your message in the message editor, click the Paperclip button just next to Save as and browse to find the file to attach.

For files over 400kB, we recommend you upload your file to Files and images and copy the link. Then you can easily paste that link into your message, for example under a button or as a hyperlink.
