How good is your email deliverability?
At GetResponse we are frequently asked about the quality of our deliverability rate. Because deliverability depends on many factors, including the content of your messages, the deliverability rate could vary for each mailing. For all our customers collectively, however, we are proud to say our overall deliverability rate currently stands at 99%.
In the email marketing world, deliverability is strictly connected with reputation. The better reputation, the better deliverability is.
Email delivery and GetResponse policies
Over two decades GetResponse has developed a very good relationship with all major Internet Service Providers (ISPs). This all would not be possible without our strict import policy, ZERO tolerance to SPAM, list management tools, delivery tracking and processing the undeliverable email addresses and enforcing best practices.
As a shared email marketing platform, we allow users to use our servers and IP addresses to manage the delivery of the messages of all your customers. The advantage of a shared IP address space is that from day 1 you can send a large volume of messages to your contacts because of the already established reputation of IP addresses.
Sender reputation is the relationship we build with ISPs in order to increase and maintain the deliverability. The higher our reputation is the higher the chance that your message will be delivered straight to the recipients. There are many factors which influence deliverability: quality of the traffic that is being sent from the IP, domain, and also the quality of the mailings sent by a particular sender (the from field reputation).
IP address and domain reputation
The IP address and domain reputation is under constant control of the appropriate GetResponse team which enforces best practices, controls the statistics and suspends accounts of users that abuse our system.
GetResponse IP addresses
To check the reputation of our IP addresses you can use SenderScore.org, which provides information on how a sender’s reputation compares to other email senders, and how it is likely to be evaluated by mailbox providers. The current range of our IP addresses is following:
