How does the Amount filter work?

Set this filter to define the number of contacts affected by an action. Example: send a gift certificate to 10 contacts only.

This is a single number, so for example, if you type 100 this means that the first hundred contacts who meet your condition will be affected by the action.

Note that the positive (green) connector lets through only the specified number of contacts. So whenever you attach an action to the positive connection on Amount, we trigger this action for the selected number of contacts. The remaining contacts are the subject of an action attached to the negative (red) connector.

Check out this example to see how the filter works:

The filter selects only the 100 contacts who get to this point of the workflow. When they are included in the filtered amount they receive a message. The remaining contacts, starting from 101, are moved to another list.
