How to trigger a popup based on a placed order or updated cart?

The following article applies to our brand new Forms and Popups editor. Legacy editor help can be found here.

You can now react to the customers of your store and show them a popup after they:

  • place an order with a specific order value, a selected number of products, or specific products – you can motivate shoppers to return through offers like discounts or reward programs
  • update the cart with specific cart values, selected number of products in the cart, or specific products placed in the cart – you can offer an incentive, like free shipping, product upgrades, or a better deal

Both triggers can react on data gathered in the past (eg: 14 days ago visitor placed an order) or only new events.

Before you start

Make sure that your store is connected to GetResponse.

You can trigger popups based on orders placed or updated carts in Magento, WooCommerce, Prestashop, and your own API integration.
