How is Web Automation usage counted?
The Web channel in marketing automation is a new channel that lets you track and act on website visitors, even if they’re not subscribers on your contact list. Here you can learn more about how this new channel differs from the traditional Email channel.
To ensure fair usage and system performance, the usage of Web actions will be tracked and counted. This article explains how usage is calculated and where to track it.
Access to the Web channel is available for the first 30 days of a free account and in the Marketer, Creator, and MAX plans.
Usage for the Web channel is measured based on the number of exits from Action elements in a workflow. Each time a person (even a non-subscribed visitor) goes through an Action element – Prompt for push notification, Send push notification, or Show popup – it counts as one interaction. All interactions are then summed and counted.
You can view your interaction count anytime in the Manage automation section, where usage from the last 30 days will be displayed.
