What is Preference Center?

The Preference Center is a new feature designed to give subscribers more control over how they receive communications from GetResponse customers. This article explains what options are available, how subscribers can access them, and how Preference Center works alongside the traditional unsubscribe mechanism.

Does the Preference Center replace the traditional unsubscribe from list option?

Not yet. For now, the Preference Center and the standard unsubscribe mechanism work in parallel. While the goal is for the preference center to eventually provide a more comprehensive and flexible way for subscribers to manage all aspects of their consent and subscriptions, the classic unsubscribe option will remain available during this transition period.

What options do subscribers have in the new Preference Center

With the Preference Center, as a subscriber you can:

  • Manage marketing consent
You can withdraw your consent to receive marketing communications at any time. At this stage, it is not possible to re-grant this consent within the Preference Center
  • Subscribe or unsubscribe from abandoned cart reminders
You can choose whether you want to receive emails about abandoned carts to help complete your purchases.

These options make it easier for subscribers to customize the experience with any brand that uses GetResponse.

Where can subscribers find the link to manage their preferences

The link to the Preference Center is included in the footer of every email message sent from GetResponse. This ensures it’s always easy to access and update preferences.
