What you’ll need

What is Facebook pixel and how can I use it?

The Facebook pixel is a snippet of JavaScript code for your website that enables you to build, measure, and optimize audiences for your ad campaigns. Using the Facebook pixel, you can leverage the actions people take on your website across various devices to create more effective Facebook advertising campaigns.

Use the Facebook pixel for 3 main functions:

  • Building Custom Audiences from your landing page for remarketing.
Custom Audiences is a powerful way for you to reach people on Facebook who have visited your site. It helps you increase the engagement of those who’ve already shown interest in your offer.

How to enable the Facebook pixel for the account?

Once you connect your Facebook account, we’ll list all of your Facebook pixels. If you don’t have any we will create one for your personal ad account. When you enable Facebook pixel tracking on your landing page, we’ll automatically add the code snippet to your page.

In order to enable the Facebook pixel for the entire account:

  1. Go to Integrations and API.
  2. Find Facebook Pixel integration and click on it.
  3. Click Connect and go through the Facebook authorisation process.
  4. Once connected, you can choose which Facebook pixel you’d like to assign by going to the Actions menu (vertical ellipsis) and clicking Set as Active.

Once set as active, the picked pixel will be automatically added to all landing pages.

You can create additional Facebook pixels in your Facebook account to track multiple pages. You’ll need to enter the pixel by hand when you edit the Analytics & Remarketing settings for your page. To do that, visit the section “How do I include Facebook pixel in my landing page?”

Note: Once you connect the Facebook Pixel integration, it will automatically generate and place a Facebook pixel on all of your GetResponse landing pages. The pixel tracks visitors entering your site through a Facebook ad so you can target them based on their actions. Only you have access to this information in your account. We won’t be able to view, use, or share it with anyone.
