This is no ordinary month at GetResponse.

We’re commemorating a journey, a commitment, and a dream that began 25 years ago. And how you have helped us to get there.

Much like how birthdays are a time for reflection and gratitude, we’re taking a moment to look back at our roots and the journey we’ve embarked upon.

In the late 90s, the digital world was rapidly evolving. The ability to reach an audience instantly, regardless of their location or language, saw new business ventures emerging daily.

However, there were significant challenges. The solutions available on the market were often scarce, complex, and prohibitively expensive. In essence, most weren’t tailored for small business owners.

That’s when an idea was born: to make email marketing more accessible to businesses worldwide, to help customers build, nurture, and convert their audience through emails. Enter GetResponse.

Founded by the then-18-year-old Simon Grabowski in his attic in 1998, GetResponse started as a simple email autoresponder.

From those humble beginnings, GetResponse has transformed, evolved, and expanded.

Today, we’re more than just an email autoresponder. Our international brand proudly serves over 400,000 customers globally, in 180+ markets.

Our suite of tools has grown exponentially, encompassing AI-driven email marketing, landing pages, webinars, marketing automation, forms, popups, and so much more.

Each tool and feature was built with a singular goal in mind – to empower businesses to connect more effectively with their audience.

But this journey, as incredible as it has been, is not about ourselves alone. It is more about you – our loyal customers. Your trust, feedback, and partnership have been foundational to our growth.
