Our Story

GetResponse was launched in 1999 by Internet marketing pioneer and entrepreneur Simon Grabowski. Ever since, his vision of helping SOHO and small business marketers around the globe improve marketing efficiency, reduce costs and increase profitability has continued to define the company’s mission.

Beginnings

In 1997, Simon began work on GetResponse in his father’s garage (actually it was the attic) with only $200 in his pocket. Back then he coded, designed sites, and responded to customers all by himself. Today, he is the owner of several online businesses that serve a growing network of over 23.6 million people.

Since its launch in 1997, GetResponse has grown larger and stronger, thanks to the engagement, creativity and hard work of a group of talented geeks who gathered around Simon.

Step by step, they implemented their ideas, always driven by the company’s core values: always raise the bar, welcome change, and bring energy and excitement.

Originally based in a small office in Gdynia, the company gradually expanded to other cities, new countries, and bigger office spaces.

Present

GetResponse now operates worldwide, with offices in the US, Poland, Canada and Russia, offering a wide range of online solutions, including website building, video conferencing platform ClickMeeting and streaming rich media.

GetResponse Email Marketing is available internationally in 14 languages and serves a growing base of customers, currently 350,000 strong.

    A key driver of GetResponse innovations, Christopher previously was Senior IT Manager at the largest Polish portal, WP.PL.
