GetResponse Email Marketing Wins Double Honors in Best in Biz Awards 2014
Judges Award Gold for Business Service of the Year, Citing Innovations in Service Category
GetResponse has been named Gold Award winner by Best in Biz Awards 2014 International in the Small or Medium Business Service of the Year category. The company also captured a Silver Award for Most Innovative Service of the Year. Best in Biz is an independent awards program judged by members of the press and industry analysts.

More than 200 public and private companies competed in Best in Biz Awards’ second annual International program, representing all sectors of the economy and more than 30 countries. The judges presented honors in a range of categories, including Fastest-Growing Company of the Year, Most Innovative Company of the Year, Enterprise Product of the Year, Best New Version of the Year and Most Innovative Product of the Year.
Winners were determined based on scoring by a panel of 27 judges drawn from top-tier news, business, finance, and technology publications and media outlets from 17 countries, with all continents represented.

The judging panel was impressed with GetResponse innovations in mobile marketing. The company recently released the industry’s first true responsive email design module.
The design interface applies a sequence of commands that run when the email is delivered to each subscriber. The software senses the screen size of the device used — smartphone, tablet, mini, laptop or desktop — and automatically formats the message to fit the screen. It works for all messages created in GetResponse, including hundreds of free templates available for customers.
“We recognized the importance of responsive design in the early days of smartphones and tablets,” said Simon Grabowski. “So we took our time and developed a solution that eliminates the need to maintain a parallel site. Now email subscribers get the same great experience, no matter what device they use to access their email.”
The design interface includes one-click Mobile Email Preview, which allows the marketer to verify how their design will render on various combinations of browsers and email programs for both desktop and mobile devices.
