How to renew a domain purchased with GetResponse?
Domains purchased with GetResponse are renewed automatically. If you don’t want your domain to be renewed, you need to manually switch off the toogle.
To switch off the domain autorenewal:
- Go to Tools > Emails and domains > Website and landing page domains.
- Move the slider to switch off the autorenewal.
Disabling domain autorenewal will cause the domain to expire. After expiration date a 40-day grace period follows when you are still entitled to redeem the domain.
After 40 days, the domain is gradually released to the market. There still might be a possibility to regain it, but the cost and complexity of that proces increases with time.
