Successful abandoned cart series is about timing and content. You need to reach the right people with the right message at the right time.
Plan the following aspects carefully:
Segmentation: put your contacts into groups based on the products and content they’re interested in.
Content: prepare different types of content e.g., reminders, product descriptions, list of benefits, reviews, testimonials, discounts and test what seems to work best.
Cadence: how fast should you send reminders about the products in the cart? When is the right time to send some product content and testimonials? Schedule the flow by answering such questions.
Analysis: regularly analyze engagement. Track how often your contacts open and click the links in your emails. Look at the sales rate and revenue per individual email.
