What are GetResponse Chats?

GetResponse Chats is a feature that allows you to connect with your audience in a completely new way. You can now talk directly to your contacts or landing page visitors without leaving GetResponse.

GetResponse Chats are available to your subscribers via a chat page link included in an email, on your landing page via a chat window, or through a direct link to the chat page.

We’ll show you contact and visitor information on the chat page in your GetResponse account where you can reply to your chats. 

For chats started from a landing page, we’ll display contacts as visitors.

For chats coming from a chat link in a message, we’ll show subscriber information, such as name, email address, and phone number under Contact info. Below, in the Subscribed to section, you’ll see the list the contact is subscribed to, subscription date, and engagement score.

Under the Subscribed to section, you can click on the action menu (vertical ellipsis), and click on Full details to access the contact page in your GetResponse account.

  • We keep the chat history for the contact or visitor as long as they don’t clear their browser cookies. This means that when they access your chat again, their previous chats will still be there.
  • You’ll have a special page to manage your chats under Menu > Chats.
  • All changes made to the chat window and the chat page are displayed in real-time.
