# How to track my landing page with Google Analytics?

You can track and collect metrics from your landing page just as you would for your e-commerce store. If you already have a Google Analytics account, simply add the tracking code to your new or existing landing page.

We send PageViews data for every page visited on your [landing page builder](https://www.getresponse.com/features/landing-page-creator). After each subscription, the following event is sent to Google Analytics:

*   **Category:** Lead
*   **Action:** Registered
* **Value:** Your landing page title

(**PRO TIP**) Use this event to set goals in Google Analytics and measure the conversion rate for each traffic source. [Learn how to create goals in Google Analytics](https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/1032415?hl=en&ref_topic=6150889).

****Before you begin**** make sure you have**:**

1. An active [Google Analytics account](https://analytics.google.com).
2. Google tag ID (aka: Google Analytics ID).
