# How to test GetResponse Chats before using them on my website or a landing page?

You can check how GetResponse Chats work on a sample page before you install it on your website or a landing page. 

1.  Go to **[Chats](https://app.getresponse.chat/#/)**.

2.  Go to the **Settings** tab.

3.  Choose the **Install code on site** tile.

4.  Click on **Start now** under **Give Chats a test run.**

5.  This will open a sample site with a GetResponse Chats button included.
6.   Click on the button and type in your message.
7.  Go to **Active chats** in your GetResponse account to reply.
