# How to change the language of non-editable elements on my website?

Some website elements cannot be edited manually, but you can decide which language they are displayed in. These include:

*   Form validation and error messages, such as:
    *   Contact is on the list already
    *   The field is required and it cannot be empty
    *   The email field or the phone field is entered in the wrong format
*   [Timer](https://www.getresponse.com/help/how-can-i-add-a-timer-to-my-website.html) labels – elements such as days, hours, and minutes are translated automatically according to the selected language.

How to change the language of the non-editable elements
-------------------------------------------------------

1.  In the website editor, click on the **Global design** button.

2.  Select the language from the dropdown list (it saves automatically).
