# How to cancel a Free account?

#### Cancelling a premium period

If you are still within the first 14 days, you will need to [contact our support team](https://www.getresponse.com/features/support) to cancel your account.

#### Cancelling a Forever Free account

Once the 14-day trial period has passed and you do not want to keep a Forever Free account or upgrade to a paid plan, you can cancel your subscription on your own.

To cancel your Forever Free account:

1.  Go **Profile** > **Manage account** > **Close account**.

2.  Select a **cancellation reason** and leave your feedback (optional). Next, click on the **Close my account** button.
