# How to create Shopify promo code in GetResponse?

It’s possible to sync existing Shopify promo codes with GetResponse or create Shopify promo code in GetResponse. You can use the codes in the messages created in the new email editor.

How to create Shopify promo code
--------------------------------

To create a promo code:

1.  [Integrate Shopify with GetResponse](https://www.getresponse.com/help/how-can-i-integrate-shopify-and-getresponse.html)
2.  Go to [**Promo codes**](https://app.getresponse.com/e-commerce/promo-codes) tab in Ecommerce tools.
3.  Click **Create promo code**.

4.  Enter promo code name and promo code itself.
5.  Click **Sync with Shopify** and fill and select all available options:
    *   **Discount type**
        *   Select **Percentage**, and then enter a percent value in the **Discount value** section.
        *   Select **Fixed amount**, and then enter a monetary value in the **Discount value** section.
        *   Select Free shipping and **Discount value** will be disabled
    *   If you want to set a minimum purchase requirement for the discount, then in the **Minimum requirements** section, do either of the following:
        *   Select **Minimum purchase amount** to require that customers spend a minimum purchase amount to qualify for the discount. If the discount applies to a specific product or collection, then only these items contribute to the minimum purchase amount.
        *   Select **Minimum quantity of items** to require that customers order a minimum number of products to qualify for the discount. If the discount applies to a specific product or collection, then only these items contribute to the minimum quantity amount.
    *   In the **Discount starts on** section you select the start date and time
    *   If you want to set an end date for the discount, then click **Set end date** and set the date when the discount ends.
    *   You can also **Limit how many times the promo code can be used** by enabling that option and putting the number in

6.  Click **Create promo code**.  
    

How to add Shopify promo code to the message?
---------------------------------------------

To add Shopify promo code to the message:

1.  Open the message editor.
2.  Under **Ecommerce** find the **Promo code** element.

3.  Drag it into the canvas of your message. The promo code will create a new section where the code will be displayed.

4.  After adding the block, select the code.
