# Can I change the language for my list and confirmation message?

It’s possible to select a different language for your list in the **List settings**. This will also change the language for your:

*   unsubscribe page
*   unsubscribe success page
*   newsletter directory.

To change the language settings for your list:

1.  Go to **Contacts > [Lists](https://app.getresponse.com/lists)**.
2.  Hover the mouse pointer over the **Actions** icon on the right to expand the **Actions list**.
3.  Select **Settings** to open **List settings**.
4.  In **General** settings, expand the **Language** drop-down list and choose the language for the list.
5.  Click **Save general settings**.

To change the language of your confirmation page:

1.  Select the language you want to use under the **General** tab and click **Save general settings**.
2.  Go to the **Confirmation message** tab and confirm the selection by clicking **Save confirmation message**.
