From lab to lens

After 10 years spent in science labs, Paul turned to a more creative career. The fine art photographer now sells his images at art shows – and together with fellow snapper Allie Richards, he offers photography workshops and trips.

Success means being able to go to bed every day feeling proud of what I’ve accomplished, and then being able to wake up the next morning excited about what’s to come.

After meeting people at art shows and his camera club lectures, Paul manually imports contacts (if he can read their handwriting!) He then uses autoresponders to send a monthly newsletter.

Whatever I do – whether it’s work, play, or doing the laundry – is just stuff I need to do, without a real division between business and pleasure.

It’s all for the same cause: to support my life and make myself happy. I don’t find myself overwhelmed at all, so it must be working!
