The GetResponse Power Leads Program delivers unique, highly targeted co-registration leads to your contact database. However, there are additional “tips and tricks” you can employ to accelerate sales and sign ups, while improving the quantity and quality.

Want to get the best possible results from GetResponse Power Leads? Try these out!

  1. Look at other ads within your industry or product group for ideas. Think about what caught your attention and what didn’t. Bookmark or make copies of your favorites, so when you’re composing your ad, you can make it the „best of the best”!
  2. The headline is THE most important part of your ad, so keep it short (5 words or less) and make it count. Use "action" verbs, questions or imperatives (commands) to grab attention and awaken curiosity. The key is to evoke a desire or emotion that is linked to your offer, e.g. " Want to quit your day job?". Then you provide the solution!
  3. Be very clear about what you’re offering. Don't use vague terms that leave people scratching their heads. And never use "blind ads" that encourage people to sign up out of curiosity, as those will not produce high-quality leads (No one wants to be surprised by the real offer.).
  4. Think about your target audience. Gather as much information on demographics, interests, „reasons to buy”, etc. before you create your ad. If you don’t have the data, put yourself in their place and make some assumptions. For example, let's say your ad is promoting a home business opportunity; your audience is probably concerned about access (minimal travel), ease of use, cost, and cashflow. Prioritize your list from most important to least, then build your headline and pitch!
  5. The most effective way to accelerate the buying decision is to link your product or service with the benefits it provides, so the consumer processes that information together. It’s the “what’s in it for me” story that leads to sales and sign ups!
  6. Most people will not read ads that are long and full of hype. So briefly describe what you are selling or offering, and make sure to mention the benefits, but just enough to pique their curiosity. Note that the title should be no more than 45 characters long, including spaces, and the description 145 characters.
  7. Do not use all caps in your ad (s). It makes the ad hard to read, and is perceived as „shouting” by the reader. Most people view these ads as either „hard sell”, or rude, or both, and will not look at what you are offering.
  8. Revise and test your ad (s) over and over again until you write an ad that works for you. However, test only one ad at a time, so you know exactly which version is working and where.
  9. If you know your price is competitive, then show it! Statistics prove that pricing can have a very positive impact on CTR (click through rates). Being upfront about the cost also makes it easier for prospects to reach buying decisions and enhances your credibility.
  10. Everyone likes to get something for free, but “free” can backfire if the gift is useless or irrelevant. Make sure your gift complements or extends the benefits provided by your offer. For example, if you’re targeting home-based businesses, include a free e-book about home-business accounting, or setting up a home office, etc.
  11. Use words that have „stopping power”. In the case of sponsored text links, „power words” may include: "secret", "high quality", "unlimited", "guaranteed", "best", "number 1", "endorsed by ...", "tested", "promotion", "cheap", "professional", etc. They all communicate value and play an an important role in attracting prospects to your ads and messages.
