|

I just signed up to GetResponse.
I want to start selling ebooks on eBay. Using GetResponse, if all my customer pay via PayPal, is there any way to send a single email to my customers after I change the link to point to the item they ordered?
In other words, I want to have one thank you email and just change the link via some kind of product/link cross-reference.
Thanking you in advance,
Clay |

I'm not sure I understand what you're asking but lets try to
come up with something.
It sounds like you want to send the download URL to your
customer via Getresponse, after they have completed a
purchase. Then after you send the URL you want to send
another letter. If this is right;
You can use broadcast to send a letter after the download or
you can have a follow-up letter loaded in GR set to go out the next
day.
If you have a hosting account, the best way is load your Thank
you page to your hosting account. Have a subscribe form on
your thank you page that will send the customer to your download
page and subscribe to your responder at the same time.
While they are downloading the e-book they will be getting your
letter you have loaded in getresponse and set on (0 day)
I hope this helps,
Delton

Thanks for the info. Now I understood they have to subscribe, once they make thier first purchase and you send a eBook, does it have to be a subcribed person?
Thanks,

Hello Clay,
Automation rules would work perfectly for you .
"Remove-on-sale" automatically removes a subscriber
from Active list once he purchased your product.
Choosing "move-on-sale" automatically removes your
subscriber to another campaign after a sale is made.
To have "move-on-sale" set please follow these steps:
* go to Campaigns >> Automation
* choose a campaign
* click “Add new automation rule”
* choose “Sale”
* choose “move”
* click “Add Rule”
To activate it, you also need to activate
sales tracking. Please go to the main page and click
"Sales tracking". Fill in the form and get your HTML code
generated and paste it onto your site.
To learn more about automation rules, please go to
Campaigns>>Automation
Best Regards,
