| Please help, I'm confused with how sales tracking works. Here's my situation, I am creating a lead page with a signup form for requesting more information. When they signup, they become a prospect and will receive a series of email to urge them to join. In every message to them, I will include a link to a page where they can signup for my program. If they signup, they become my customer and I like them to receive a different set of emails. I aware about automation rule, but I'm still confused. Please help me the steps to do this. |

Hello Bambang,
If the subscribers signup to the program and they
do not need to pay for that, there is no need to use
sales tracking.
If on the page where they subscribe to your program,
they may also subscribe to another responder, it is
enough if you use the following automation rule:
'remove-on-subscribe'. It would cause that once the
person subscribes to the second responder, they
are removed from the first one.
If, however, they are required to pay, first you need
to create a sales tracking code (from 'Track my sales'
on the main screen. Then such code needs to be placed
on the page that shows right after the customer has
made payment.
Then, please go to Campaigns >> Automation rules
and choose either remove or move-on-sale rule.
Best regards,
