There are two main ways to build subscribers:

Many people choose to send a newsletter out to their list on a periodic
basis. Your newsletter might contain tips, questions and answers, news
for your niche, a guest expert column, and maybe an advertisement or
two.

A newsletter is a commitment and consistency is key.

If you're not sure if you can write a scheduled newsletter, you can also
have visitors opt-in for a one time report, delivered as a PDF, audio, or
even video. Or, you can deliver your information as an ecourse,
stretching from a few days to a few weeks or more. Everyone who opts
in starts at Day 1 and continues through.

During and after the report(s) you can always advise your subscribers of
breaking news and updates by sending a broadcast message. (This is
very easy to do thorugh your GetResponse account.) You can also use
this feature to send reviews with affiliate links about products or services
you'd like to recommend.

Don't be intimidated thinking you have to write a novel in order to add an
opt-in form at your site. If your content is valuable, simple works just as
well!
