Problems with links in predefined fields or [[sig]]

Hello,

when I place an URL or a mailto-link into an predefined field or a campaigns [[sig]] and use these in my html emails it is not recognized as a link. So instead of having clickable URLs / Links in my signature there is just text that my customers have to copy & paste.
Is there a workaround for this?

Hello Ruediger,

Your predefined mailto-links work fine. Gmail reads
them properly. If you find them not clickable, it means
that your mail client recognizes them as text.

As per [[sig]], the merge word do not actually appear
as a link in a message. It repeats what your entered
at Campaign Settings>>General>>Signature.
