I have a scenario. I have a campaign that I use to automatically market my ebook to my mailing list. In this campaign, there are 10 messages sent out over a period of 30 days to anyone who subscribes to this list, encouraging them to purchase the ebook.
A member from my list decides to make a purchase by the 8th message. After making the purchase, he is taken to a download page where he has to fill in his email details, as well as some other info, before he is allowed to download the book.
The problem: I now know that he is someone who has paid for my ebook because only people who have paid for my ebook are signed up to the latter list he signed up for in order to do the download. But, he's still on my first list in which he is scheduled to receive two more marketing messages promoting the ebook. Does getresponse have a way of unsubscribing email addresses from one list once they are placed on another? |

You can use "Automation" to do this.
Simply login to your GR account, select "Campaigns -> Automation" then choose the required "Rules Description".
Hope this helps.

Oops... I accidentally pressed the enter key and it posted the message. Sorry about that Jason
Let's me be more specific...
Lets say for example, that on subscribe to "responder #2" (after purchasing the ebook), you want the customer removed from your "responder #1". Then here's what to do. Just replace "responder #1" and "responder #2" below with your actual Campaign Names:
1. Login to your GetResponse account.
2. From the Main Menu, select your "responder #1" campaign by selecting "Campaigns" then "My Campaigns".
3. Once the page has loaded, select "Campaigns" then "Automation" from the Main Menu.
4. Click on the "Add new automation rule" link.
5. On the "Left Drop-down Menu", select "subscribe".
6. On the "Right Drop-down Menu", select "responder #2"
7. Press "Add Rule" to save settings.
As soon as this is configured, the customer will automatically be removed from your "responder #1" campaign once he or she subscribes to your "responder #2" (i.e. during the ebook purchase).
Hope this helps Jason.
