"Back in the Day" people just signed up for email lists without thinking twice about it. Those days are long gone!

If you don't have a Privacy Policy stated by your opt-in form, you are reducing the numbers who will sign up. Nobody wants to take the chance of having their email address sold to bulk mailers.
