Make the confirmation open in a new window

hi, i've got the html code on my blog and everything works exactly the way i want, except: when a subscriber enter name and email and clicks subscribe the confirm page i have in the html code replaces the blog page. what needs to be inserted, and where does it need to go, in the html subscription code to make the confirm page open in a new window?? thanks, peter.
