is anyone doing something similar to this with getresponse?
I am running a lead generation campaign right now with a company that doesn't have tracking ability. So I came to getresponse so I have tracking, however I have a question about your policy:
Let me explain the campaign so it makes sense, the campaign I have set up works like this:
- someone goes onto a site (ex: wall street journal or hotmail)
- they enter their name, email, etc. to register for the wall street journal
- after they enter that they go to a page that has a list of 5 or 6 various offers that they can learn more about
- IF they check on my offer and want more information from me, their name, email etc. is automatically inserted into my form code (web form code that would be created in Getresponse) If they do not check on my offer, I do not get their information and nothing happens.
- they then go to another page and confirm that all their information is correct
- once they confirmed their information is correct, they are officially submitted to my getresponse account as a subscriber and will now receive my messages
They specifically request my information from an advertisement that says they will be emailed with additional information if they check on my ad (its a check box they must click). The company I work with has the ability to transfer the information they submit into my get response web form code.
My question is this - is this process for obtaining subscribers acceptable with getresponse? |

Hello,
As long as you have created the webform, from
within your autoresponder account, there should
be no problem having your subscribers added to
your campaign. However, if there is some other
mechanism involved, like forwarding etc, we may
not guarantee that it will be compatible with
GetResponse.
Best Regards,
