I'm a total newbie and not very computer savvy, but I know the importance of building your own opt-in list... if only I understood how it all works.
I need to "Personalize my Confirmation Message" and on this page alone I have a bunch of questions.
Under #2 - Logo URL. Do I need to have my own logo created for my website for this? If so, where can I get that done and how do I get a URL for my logo?
The website address I need to add; is this the website that people will be subscribing to my list from?
What do I write under description? Where will that info be shown?
Hide marketing campaign? Why would I want to hide it? Where will it be shown?
Under #4 - Removals. How do I create a customized removal page URL? Stay on the list URL? Do I need different domain names for each page?
I'll stop here for now... Thank you! |

In order to customize your confirmation message please go to
Campaigns >> My Campaigns and choose the Campaign that you
want to customize the confirmation message for. Then go to
campaign settings (a button located in the top right corner
of the screen) and choose "Personalization" from the Menu.
Now scroll down to point 6. Edit Confirmation Message.
You need to choose a subject and message body template from
the templates provided. You can write your personalized message
which can be up to 200 characters long, and put your signature
in the spaces provided.
At all times, you will see how your confirmation message looks
in the Preview window.
#2-Logo URL.............this space is provided for you to put the url of your logo, if you have one.
In the description, this enables you to give a brief description of your product or service. Subscribers will see this on the unsubscribe page and may help them realize that they do indeed want this information.
Hide marketing campaigns means you can disable any marketing campaigns from showing on your pages.
Under #4 - Removals. If you have a customized removal page, that has been designed for you, you would put the url for that page here so that your subscribers would be directed to your page, instead of the one provided by GetResponse.
You can redirect or register a domain name for your account, for the purpose of being assigned to your GetResponse campaigns. Only one domain name is required but you can only redirect an existing domain name if it isn't pointing elsewhere.
Regards,
