| It would be nice to be able to have this message fully customizable. I don't like any of the "Body templates" which you offer on the campaign personalization page. Would it be possible to have an additional "Body template" option which has nothing but [[confirmation_link]] included? |

Hello,
If you are referring to subscribing via your webform, when you create the html code for the webform, it asks you if you wish to provide your own confirmation page, and you would provide the url for that, in the second step of that process. Otherwise, you would have to select from the templates available. To personalize your confirmation message please go to Campaigns >> My Campaigns and choose the Campaign that you
want to customize the confirmation message for. Then go to campaign settings (a button located in the top right corner of the screen) and choose "Personalization" from the Menu. Now scroll down to point 6. Edit Confirmation Message. You need to choose a subject and message body template from the templates provided. You can write your personalized message which can be up to 200 characters long, and put your signature
in the spaces provided. At all times, you will see how your confirmation message looks in the Preview window.
Best Regards,

Hi Alanda
I am using my own confirmation page but I am talking about the content of the "please confirm" email that goes out. I understand how to tailor it but as explained above I don't like any of the body templates on offer.
Would it be possible to have an additional "Body template" option which has nothing but [[confirmation_link]] included?
I realise you need to get a bit of adverising happening in there but it almost looks like the subscribers are dealing with you when in fact I want them to appear to be dealing with me. |

Hello,
GetResponse enables you to easily personalize its
sites including: web subscription page, removal page,
opt-in confirmation page and more. You can now set
your own logo and have it linked to your site. Please
go to Campaigns>>Campaign Settings and click on
the Personalization tab and scroll to #2. Common
Personalization Options For GetResponse Sites and
fill in the required information.

Hello Forumadmin,
I'm afraid I'm not getting through here. I don't want to personalise your sites, I don't want to put my logo anywhere and I don't want to choose ANY of the options in #2 of Personalization.
What I want to do is to have something different in the Body Template at #6 in Personalization than the standard array of body content that you offer. I don't see an option which says "Blank"! Please read my earlier messages to see what I suggested.
So focus on #6 of Personalization when formulating your answer please. If you say I can't do what I'm after then that's fine - I'll submit a change request.

Hello,
In regards to the body templates, you may use only what is
available. No changes or alterations to the templates, are allowed.

That is EXACTLY the problem I have !
I also would like a COMPLETELY customizable message.
I am in fact not running any of the defauts on offer and the first one, quite frankly, looks extremely unprofessional!
I would simply like a message such as I am already using on Freeaurobot:
Dear[[firstname]],
We have received a request from you to join [group].
In order to make sure that this request is genuine please click on this link:
[link]
blah de blah de blah--------
In my opinion this looks much more professional and polished, and I cannot see why a blank page cannot be implemented. |

Even if we do have to use templates for some reason then can I suggest that the selection is expanded as some people's needs are obviously not being met with the current selection.
Also put Dear [[firstname]] before ANY messages, after all this IS standard business practice. |

Hello,
At the moment we can offer the templates that
you can find in your account. However, we are
discussing different alterations that we may
introduce in the future.
Please feel free to make any suggestions in the
Idea GoldMine section.
The idea with confirmation link alone was already
provided in the future. However, it is not the
solution we may agree on. Some people forget
that they signed up to a newsletter. Their
reaction to receiving an email with only link will
usually end with not confirming at all.
Best regards,

I just signed up for a trial account to see if this issue had been resolved yet - but unfortunately not.
If I can't have a simple confirmation message of my own design - with no mention of GetResponse.com to confuse my visitors - I don't think I'll be signing up for a pro account. |

I have a Pro account and I have the same problem.
I can't personalize confirmation email, and worse is that "getresponse.com"appears at the beginning of the email.
Spanish templates are very poor.
I saw in awever that you can personalize the subject of confirmation email totaly, it only need to be revised and confirmed by them.
With getresponse you can only use the templates that are very poor and at the first paragraph appears that: "Has solicitado suscribirte a una lista del servicio de envío de mensajes de GetResponse.com."
Some customes tell me that they don't want receiving my email beacuse the don't want to subscribe with getresponse.
Then I think I'll go elsewhere and try it, if there is not a solution.
Thank you |

Hello,
If you are referring to subscribing via your webform,
when you create the html code for the webform, it
asks you if you wish to provide your own confirmation
page, and you would provide the url for that, in the
second step of that process.
We can gladly add another Spanish translation of the
confirmation email if you provide us with this. Please
attach a Word file so that I can pass it on our technical
support team and forward it to gr-support at cs.implix.
com.
Please indicate clearly which English template is being
translated. Also, please note that the translation must
be done precisely and cannot contain any personal
information. These can be added later on to the 300
character personalized paragraph.
