Why do I have to create Plain Text versions for my HTML format messages?
The Plain Text version accompanies all HTML messages and is used to ensure compatibility. There may be instances where contacts do not have an HTML email client or they are viewing the contents from a mobile device. The Plain Text contents can differ from your HTML message, however when you change from HTML to Plain Text editing modes (via the tabs at the top left of the editor), you will find an easy to use "import from HTML" link to help save time. Please note that the Plain Text version is also used as the script for the email-to-speech feature.
