What do "Bounces" and "Complaints" in my statistics mean?

“Bounces” are emails that are returned to the sender because it cannot be delivered for some reason. “Bounces” fall under 2 categories. Hard bounces which are bounces that permits issues, for instance an email address not existing or being deleted. Soft bounces are usually temporary issues such as an email addresses inbox being full, or the mail server being temporarily unavailable (due to maintenance or some other issue).

“Complaints” are messages that are marked by the contact or receiver as Spam and registered each time a contact marks a message as Spam. These addresses are automatically removed from the list and no longer will receive any messages from you.
