Campaigns

How does automation work?

GetResponse automation rules provide the ability to set up certain tasks to happen automatically. For instance:

If removed --> then remove:
Campaigns can be configured so that when a customer removes themselves from one campaign they can automatically be removed from several.

If subscribed --> then remove:
If you have two or more campaigns it can be set up that when a contact subscribes themself to one campaign they will automatically be removed from the other.

If subscribed --> then deactivate:
With two or more campaigns in your account it can be set up that when a contact subscribes themself to a campaign they will automatically be put on the inactive list for the campaign they are in. They are not removed from your list just deactivated so that they do not receive any more mailings until you choose to activate them again.

Upon sale --> then move:
You can use this rule to have your contacts moved from one campaign into another upon sale.

Upon sale --> then remove:
This rule can be used to remove your contacts from a campaign when a sale is made for that campaign.

Upon sale --> then deactivate:
When a sale is made in a campaign this rule will automatically make the contact inactive in the campaign they are in. They are not removed from your list just deactivated so that they do not receive any more mailings until you choose to activate them again.

Upon change --> then synchronize:
You can set this rule to preload messages from a specific campaign into another campaign upon changing the message(s).
