How can dates be formatted in an advanced manner?
Depending on your needs you may present dates in the past or in the future.
The following code should be used in order to display dates:
{{DATE "format"}}
The formats can be:
* CENTURY – For example 21. * YEAR – For example 2010. * YEAR_SHORT – For example 10. * MONTH – From 01 to 12. * MONTH_NAME – From January to December. * MONTH_NAME_SHORT – From Jan to Dec. * DAY – From 01 to 31. * DAY_NAME – From Monday to Sunday. * DAY_NAME_SHORT – From Mon to Sun. * HOUR – From 00 to 23. * MINUTE – From 00 to 59. * SECOND – From 00 to 59.
Please note that the above tokens are case-sensitive.
You may also use:
{{DATE "format" "modifier"}}
where modifier is the amount of time by which the date will be shifted. The allowed units by which the date can be shifted are:
- year(s)- day(s)- hour(s)
