Do my contacts have to be confirmed?

According to anti-spam regulations, all email addresses hosted on your mailing list should be confirmed. With GetResponse we highly recommend this as a healthy way to build and stay in touch with your contact list. Then we are able to dispute the spam complaints on your behalf, and provide the proof that the contact agreed to receive information from you. The confirmation email will be sent one time only, and once the prospective customer confirms their subscription they will be added to your contacts list and start receiving information from you. Please note that contacts imported into your account MUST be confirmed and a confirmation will go out upon import. Please be aware you would need to change the confirmation template under Campaigns >> Settings >> Opt-in >> Confirmation template prior to importing!
