It's First Weekend Sale
time (Oct 5th & 6th)!!
We're having our
"Ready,
Set, Go!!" sale in
honor of the fact that
there are only two
and half months until
Christmas, folks!!!
All yarns with animal
fibers will
be 20%
off! This will
include yarns with any
wool, alpaca, or silk
content.
Additionally, any
clearance items (and there
are some new clearance
yarns!) already on sale
will be an additional 5%
off, and our cotton
fabrics that are not batiks
will be 50%
off (50% total, not
additional)! Don't
forget that the First
Weekend Sale falls on
downtown Opelika's First
Friday, so we'll be here
until 8 pm on Friday, Oct.

Layaway!
FYI,
we've had a few requests
for layaway for big items,
and: Yes!! We can
definitely do layaway!
If you are interested
in layaway for a loom or a
spinning wheel, talk to us
about
this!

Used
looms and spinning
wheels
We
sometimes sell used looms
and spinning wheels on
consignment! In fact,
we have a used spinning
wheel here now! It is
an Ashford Traditional.
It actually has the
bulky flyer on it, and
there is a bunch of fiber
that's being offered with
it, too!

Windows!
The
picture above is from our
fabulous new window by
Lacey Pitts, with
assistance from Dave
Beasley! I know many
of you have seen the
amazing windows they've put
together in the past.
I finally figured out
how to photograph them
without glare (yay!!), so
keep an eye out for them
here! This is only
one of three, so check out

Stock Teasers
I WISH these were here
already, but we are
getting in some new items
from Namaste next week!
This is exciting,
y'all. So keep your
eyes peeled! Also
next week a needle order
is coming (heads up:
we're low on needles
right now!)
New books we've gotten in
recently include: Fleece
and Fiber Sourcebook,
Top-Down Sweaters, and
Knitted Socks East and
West. There are
plenty more, too!
We also recently
received the latest
Knitting Traditions
magazine. It's
beautiful!

Ongoing
Events
I
just want to remind you of
our ongoing events.
We have crafting
groups on Tuesday evenings,
from 5-7 pm, and on Friday
mornings, from 10-12.
Regardless of what
you're working on, feel
free to bring it and come
hang out with us! We
have a great time.
Also, Book Group is
2nd Friday (this month
we're talking about Shadow
of Night/Discovery of
Witches by Deborah
Harkness), and Spin-In is
4th Saturday! Next
month's book selection is
The Flight of Gemma Hardy.
[They do have this at
the Auburn City Library, I
know, though it's currently
checked out... to me.

soon!]
