February 25th, 2008 at 11:27 am
to help you barefoot this March or April, I have some time.
Imagine the pure joy of avoiding hard falls and getting it
right quickly instead of the aggravation of the old school
method of taking a beating.
If you want me to help you make your barefooting dreams
reality, then you need to contact me now. By using my
No Fall Barefooting techniques with our HeadZone Helmets and
the Super Fly High, you will be *so excited* that you will
not be able to sleep.
Check out what these guys had to say about their recent
lessons here, and make sure you read about 73 year
old Richard Grant who learned to barefoot and tumble turn
without falling, and learned to backwards barefoot in just
one day!

"Hi Lane,
I wanted to pass on a huge Thank You from our whole group
for an Awesome day of barefooting. I can't imagine a better
day on the water!
The water conditions were Perfect. Your boat and all the
equipment was top notch; especially the helmets with
communication that allowed the skier to receive instruction
while on the water. And, of course, your teaching is second
to none! You got everyone to the next level – surpassing all
our individual goals for the day. It was also so cool to meet
Banana George and have the opportunity to chat with him
about the Greatest sport around!
Thanks!
Paul & Doreen, Donny, PJ, and Paul Snell."

"I/we had a great time. It was a real dream come true for me.
The best thing was how my personal development as a skier
can now be put to good use.
Your professionalism, commitment to safety, and obvious
caring for us as individuals by helping us maximize our
potential was a blessing!
Dan, Josh and I are already discussing and planning how to
get the most out of what we have learned, incorporated into
their respective Camp situations.
Your Brother in Christ,
Paul Elsen
ps Can't wait for spring!!
pps My wife Mary Beth (Pete's daughter) has agreed to be my
first student using your techniques for learning to
barefoot."

"Hello Everyone!
Having completed a successful barefoot lesson last week,
Lane said to me "You have much more potential than you are
showing me."
I agreed but explained how pleased I was to be just enjoying
the sport and being motivated by the experience of gliding
on the water.
I trusted Lane and knew that it was time to take the next
step and try to master backward barefooting so I scheduled
another lesson. I arrived Tuesday and with one other skier
decided to give it a shot. After a front tumble up run
(i.e tumble turns), I was ready for the challenge.
Wearing the "virtual audio helmet" and a neck brace, I made
about 6 or 7 attempts. I had no problem riding in a
controlled position and planting my feet in a good glide
position. My fear was the final commitment of raising my
butt to the handle, crunching the ABS and allowing the boat
to pull me up. I took a break while the other skier did
some runs and then I was determined to follow Lane's
instructions.
On the second attempt I had my feet gliding in a good stable
position and heard Lane say, "relax the feet, don't push the
toes in and let the boat bring you up."
That was it I was up and the spray was washing off my chin
and my feet were to far apart and I was bent over but I was
was riding backwards and I went the distance across the back
of Lane's lake. It was FANTASTIC.
I made a second run and the other skier took pictures which
he promised to send me so I can't wait to see them although
I know that my form was not perfect. I can take care of
that now that I have confidence. I did make one backward
fall and today I am paying for it with a sore neck and
shoulder but already it is better and I played golf this
afternoon with no problems...different muscles I guess.
All I can say is "what a thrill." My golfing buddies and
friends think I am crazy but when I look at their condition
I thank God I am enjoying the thrill of barefooting.
See you soon in Maine.
Richard Grant"
By the way, Richard Grant learned to backwards barefoot at
23mph which I find is about the average speed that almost
anyone can learn when done properly.
Friend...call me today and let's ski together!
