What do Ryan Seacrest, Myleene Klass and I have in common ?
February 9th, 2008 at 7:28 amHello again
Did you have a great week ? I hope you did because there's plenty going on to entertain you. I'm not sure if you are a fan of theatre, film, gigs or standup, but I'm sure you will find something of interest in the web links that I include in every newsletter.
Just a reminder of how it works for the many new members who join the network each week. Myself and a carefully selected team of around 100 voluntary reviewers, work closely with the press offices of most of the major venues around the UK as well as some cities in Ireland and USA.
We visit the best we can find and attend the first night or preview showings in order to go through the experience which we write about online. We give you all the links to find out where it is, when it's on, how much it will cost and how to get there. Click, click, click and you're there.
And it's FREE to become a member and as well as the open reviews, you will be able to connect with other members, use the messaging facility, and publish your own events and articles. Advanced membership is available for those wishing to create their own mysite.UKTheatre.Net to get the best google ranking in UK Theatre.
Joining is simple and you will be helping independent talent to get much needed word-of-mouth going to ensure their talents are seen and appreciated. So help me and my team, to help them by clicking and signing up free
Social networking really CAN make a difference.
Many producers have contacted me to say how the UK Theatre Network has helped get sell out audiences where other forms of advertising and marketing have let them down. Many of the reviews are read over 100 times in the first week and you can now add any article to your Facebook profile, or email to a friend, to help tell your online friends and spread the news far and wide.

And the answer to the question....
What do Ryan Seacrest, Myleene Klass and I have in common ?
We are all going to be interviewing on the BAFTA Red Carpet tomorrow night ! Yes, two major personalities in the USA and UK are on equal footing with little old me, jostling for the best interviews with major stars. Ryan Seacrest's visit is a first for BAFTA and it's all due to the lack of awards footage in the US this year. His programme goes out to millions live and Myleene will be live on BBC sharing her snippets with the nation. Thankfully, all my work is edited, so it's less nerve racking and I can have more fun, but watch out Ryan Seacrest, I've got a ssecret weapon. KILTCAM will be in action. Yes, I'm going to be braveheart again and wear my Clan McFarlane tartan with pride ! Some of the footage will be online on Monday and others will be kept for soundbites on Making It In Hollywood. So, it's your chance to really get to the heart of the BAFTA's and be a part of it.
Don't forget you can watch the build-up on the Leicester Square webcam.
It's a sunny day at the moment, with no clouds, so hopefully it will last and it will be a fantastic night. The camera looks like it needs a little clean from the winter months but I'm sure you will be able to catch a unique view of the action. If you can think of an amusing line of questions or a specific one you'd like me to ask feel free to share them with me.
