Hello there Friend

It's been an exciting few weeks. The performance of Of Mice And Men went very well with a few sell-outs and packed audiences all other times. We finished last night at Glasgow's newest theatre venue OranMor. Fortunately my agent was there so watch this space :-)
LINKS IN THIS EMAIL
Previous newsletters have had problems with the links not going to the correct page or not working. The problem was related to a click tracker I used and I have now switched that off until I can get it working again. Apologies for any inconvenience. You should find clicking on the links should take you direct to the exact page you require.

UKTHEATRE.TV
At the same time I've been busy pulling together the UKTheatre.TV crews around the country to bring even more theatre to your inbox and screens. We have our first recording at The Stage in Edinburgh next week and we've been invited to film at the launch of the National Theatre of Scotland next month.

Our London crew of 14 cameramen are short of a producer at the moment but we have a performance to film down there as well and Manchester is also getting their team together. Most of this content will be online but we are also preparing a DVD for marketing purposes and including some material from members showreels, behind the scenes of some plays, interviews with actors and reviews to camera.   It's all happening. If you have any ideas for collaboration, investment or partnership, please let me know.

AND - UKTheatre.TV is compatible with the new VIDEO IPOD (see news article at the bottom).

Details of the crew are here -->>

New Features
Among the new features on the website are the EVENTS section where registered promotional and marketing people can upload a diary entry for their performance.  I've also expanded the DOCUMENTS and IMAGES section under UKTheatre.TV so that you have even more information about the cast, the performance as well as viewing high quality pictures. Some are included below.

Harold Pinter
Great news that the fanstastic Harold Pinter received the Nobel Prize for Literature this week. Like many of you, I've always been a big fan of his plays - here's a link to them at Amazon

Jennifer Karen - a trained, multi-lingual actress with experience both on stage and in front of the camera.

She has acted many different parts on stage from 'Martha', a servant who sleeps with the country's enemy in 'Vikings in Britain' to 'Lady Bracknell', the sophisticated and 'oh-so-clever' lady in Oscar Wilde's The Importance of being earnest'. But also on screen she is a good performer as viewers of 'Friendly TV' (on Sky Digital 268) will be happy to confirm. Here, she presented several shows in a spontaneous and individual style which included a special Halloween-performance as witch for example. Jen is also an experienced and passionate dancer and singer, who has appeared in music-videos (recently in new band's 'NEXUS' video "Jiggaz don't know"), several times at Cologne's main performance-and fashion spectacle and in variety shows in Aiya Napa, where she entertained hotel-guests for one season a few years ago. Currently she is part of 'Rough Cut Theatre' who specialise in expressive, Physical theatre combined with Martial Arts and will be performing in Lon don this summer. She is interested in any film-and other theatre projects to become involved in. And you can be sure she's got loads of energy and dedication!
