UK Theatre Network - PS I LOVE YOU
November 24th, 2007 at 5:55 amHiya
Hope you are well today. Just a quick notebook newsletters to share some of the news and reviews of theatre and film where you are. Manchester, Milton Keynes, Glasgow, New York and London. I've also been on the evening programme of Sky News to comment on breaking quirky stories on the Internet. Here's my blog, http://uktheatrenet.blogspot.com/, which you may not have seen if you aren't signed up to alerts@uktheatre.net
I enjoyed PS I Love You with my Paisley pal Gerard Butler and I was pleased to be in the screening of Sleuth with Branagh, Caine and Law answering questions (see review below). Also check out UKFILM.TV for trailers of Shrooms which looks like it could be the next Blair Witch.
On Bebo http://uktheatre.bebo.com you will find Never Forget preview, featuring the music of Take That, I was asked to review the new DVD and I created a little feature with some of the best bits. On Facebook you will find Iranian comedian Omid Djalili - he's a funny guy and his PR company allowed me to edit some of his work and it's currently on my profile at http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=671926912 - I've got more comedy and films to bring in the coming weeks and I'll also keep looking for theatre productions to promote.
I got a confirmed YES from the "prominent
politician", so I now need to start approaching the broadcasters
to see if I can get funding to do it. At least with the
experience of Film London earlier this year, I know what to
expect and will not be going in cold.
Have a great week.

It is a salute to arguably two of the biggest and most influential artists of that period, Elton John and Billy Joel. | 11/20/2007 |
