As ever a great week in the world of Show Business. The BAFTA Casting session (see below), was great to put a face to a name of the top casting directors in the country and learn some of the insights to how they source their talent.
The Raindance session this week was with Amanda Wilkie, who managed to persude Ewan McGregor to work for Equity minimum in Scenes Of A Sexual Nature. The practise of breaking down a script into a budget and schedule was also good to go through.
K-PAX II : The Return Of Prot - it looks like Kevin Spacey has not hung up his acting boots as news came out this week that he has accepted a role in the next Superman. Fingers crossed that he gets a chance to read the K-PAX II script soon.FACEBOOK is proving to be a winner. Almost 200 people have joined the UK Theatre Network Group, allowing pictures, events and articles to be spread around. This has resulted in the hit count increasing this week and new members joining. A Casting Director who cast me in an AOL commercial a few years back contacted me out of the blue, and I'm getting more invites to press nights and reviews.
Mysite is where you can setup your own "uktheatre.net" website. It now features WORDPRESS which is an easy way to post notes, pictures and updates to your site.
Have a great week in the world of theatre where you are.
