Hi Friend
The festive season seems a long way away
now and everyone is starting to slowly but
surely get the show back on the road. I
was asked onto Sky again last night to
talk about the most clicked stories on the net.
The butterflies have gone but it's still a lot
of fun, and helps to get uktheatre.net out
there.
SUNDANCE
One more newsletter before I head out to Salt
Lake City for the Sundance Film Festival.
If you want to get the blogs each day, then
send an email to alerts@ukfilm.tv
- I'm staying at the Yarrow Hotel where
all the press conferences and screenings
are and I've already gone a few interviews
lined up. Myspace are also launching a
celebrity version of their site at Sundance
according to their recent press
release.
JOBS
Some opportunities at MTV,
Chessington Park and Chelsea Players
have been uploaded. Chelsea Players auditions
are today so hurry.
VOTE FOR ANTI-WAR
Artistic Director of
Spartaki, Karen Douglas, is a tireless
advocate for social change through theatre. I've
performed in a number of plays with her including
A Letter From
Death Row at the Scottish Parliament. The
performance was just one of the supporting events
that lead up to the release this week of Scot
Kenny Richey. Spartaki are also involved in Stop
The War campaigns and are looking for your
support by voting for them in the Channel 4 Politics
Awards.
ARTS COUNCIL
ENGLAND
If you are an Equity member you
would've heard about the event at the Young Vic
this week to protest about the Arts Council
England procedures for funding. Genesis Masks
are holding a further protest this week in
London and are looking for around 500 people to
wear white masks, which will be provided, and
silently protest at Piccadilly Circus at
1pm on Tuesday 15th January. Contact
genesismasks@gmail.com
for more information.

Be sure to use our new ADD IT feature at the bottom
of each page which helps to spread the news
of reviews or articles you like to other social
sites like
Facebook.
CIRQUE DU
SOLEIL
I was invited to the dress rehearsals
of Cirque Du Soleil
this week. They were on
top form and everything was expertly
choreographed and timed to perfection. Always a
treat to take family and friends and make a
special night of it.
