• Today I am going to thank you and also will share more of my story with you. But since hundreds of new spiritual stories lovers who have joined us in the last month, there's a lot of people who won't know why I'm thanking you or what the rest of this story is about, so I apologize in advance for the length of this email. Here's the inside scoop, so that you know what's going on... "My purpose is to use insight, compassion, and the rapid embodiment of wisdom to empower others to experience meaningful states of inner peace, joy, and abundance." For those of you who have been part of this spiritual stories community for more than a month, the above statement may sound familiar... because I shared this life purpose statement that I discovered after going through Steve Little's Perfect Biz Finder program. Steve's program, at its core, is not so much about business (at least not in the traditional view), or even perfection, as it is about digging within yourself to discover your greatest passions which can then be manifested into The Perfect Business... a business which enables people like us (you and me) to leverage our unique talents to empower others while simultaneously earning an income that can support ourselves and others. In Steve's view, this is what it means to have a "perfect" business. In the same email that I shared about my experience with Steve's program, I also shared that my pledge to you was that I would leave my day job within one year so that I could be of service, to you, full-time. I am following my heart of hearts... living my dream of helping others achieve their dreams, and I'm grateful to be able to share the journey with you. In the spirit of sharing, a particularly interesting aspect of the journey into building this perfect business is the realization that I am one piece of the puzzle... a single powerful piece part of a much larger movement. The Shift is a grass-roots movement of social and spiritual transformation. It is about people like you and me who value personal transformation and are ready to impact the world in meaningful ways. Simply by reading this email you are part of The Shift... ...because all transformation that we undertake on a personal level does affect all the people we interact with - our friends, loved ones, teachers, students, colleagues, and even the strangers we meet once and never again. What I didn't know until a few weeks after I sent my email about Steve's program, was that Steve is actually going to be in The Shift. But he's not going to be in it because of his Perfect Biz Finder program... he's going to be in it because he is empowering people to make significant shifts in their lives. His program is just the natural transition of the personal coaching he's been doing with people for years. What I also didn't know after that last email, is that I've gotten myself in a little bit deeper than I had planned... There is a saying that goes something like, "We teach that what we most need to learn." As you know, I am learning to build my perfect business, learning to build and grow my dream of being of service to you full time, and so what better way to learn that than to also teach it?
