Dear Friend,
I wanted to email you and let you know that since the last time
I emailed you about Project Pit Bull we have already distributed
$277 to rescue organizations around the nation and in Canada.
Everyone who contributed should be given a medal. Be it
$5 or $5,000 the amount is not what's important. The message
this is sending to not only those souls who put their lives
on hold to save dogs but to the Pit Bull owning community
in general is what Project Pit Bull is all about.
With each contribution comes hope that maybe one more
dog will find a loving home. Maybe one more dog will
be able to have their medical issues (like surgery, spay,
neuter, diet etc...) seen too and given a chance to live
a healthy happy life.
I understand people may be hesitant to contribute
to Project Pit Bull.
If that is the case I ask that if you or anyone you
know is hesitant to email me for a list of organizations
these contributions were sent to and donate directly
to them if you prefer that method.
On that note, I would like to bring to your attention
three dogs that are in need of medial procedures
that are (A) expensive and (B) will increase their
hopes for a loving home.
The dogs are Tiger, Nixon and Libby and are being
helped by Pit Bull Rescue San Diego. Pit Bull
Rescu San Diego is one rescue I have been
working with for a while now.
Since the launch of The Pit Bull Training Handbook
there is a special web page we have set up to
see that 50% of the proceeds go directly to
PBRSD.
It's located at:
http://www.PitBullLovers.com/handbook/index-sd.html
But I have to stop here and tell you that I am not asking
you to order the book. Instead I would prefer that
you visit their web site and make a direct contribution
to Tiger, Libby or Nixon's medical fund.
To do that, please email me personally for the link
to their site.
I can not display the URL here because the email
service I use has a policy against such things.
Needless to say I'm excited and pleased with the
response to Project Pit Bull and the out pouring
of love and sympathy I received from Gazette
subscribers around the world.
Thank you for your support, your devotion,
and your efforts. They are truly appreciated.
Best Regards,
Jason Mann, Angel CGC and Honey
