------------------------------------------------------------ Hello
Friend, I wanted to send you a email and let you know that the
general articles section of the site has been updated to include
the new article on Proper Pit Bull Temperament. It's located at and
is article 12:
http://www.pitbulllovers.com/general-pitbull-articles.html I also
wanted to let you know that I will be updating the health section
today (check it later or tomorrow to see updates). You can now get
1 1/2 inch black nylon collars from PitBullLovers.com as well for
$12.95. These collars the collars Angel and Honey wear and I have
had one of them for 4 years and it's still as strong and reliable
as it was when I got it. You can get more information about the
collars at: http://www.PitBullLovers.com/shop/ --- Angel Obtains
Canine Good Citizen Certificate --- Last night Allissa (my
girlfriend) and I took Angel to test for her Canine Good Citizens
title. Another couple who had a lab/pit mix and a Pit Bull were
there as well testing for their TDI (Therapy Dog International)
test and Money, the lab/pit mix did great on his test! He also
quickly became Angels "love interest." Rusty the other Pit Bull
there was tested as well, I'm not sure how he did as after we were
the honor dog for him we had to go. However, Angel passed and
earned her CGC without much of a fuss. The hardest part of the
night was dealing with my nerves and Angel wanting to keep going
after this soccer ball that was sitting by the wall in the testing
area. Angel will also be testing for her Therapy Dog Certificate in
the coming weeks and we are going to be competing in both AKC and
UKC obedience trials this winter and next spring. I am so proud of
Angel on her accomplishment and I was even more proud of her
behavior around the folks there and Rusty and Money. Rusty and
Money were excellent dogs and both did very well (Angel and I were
the honor dog and handler for some of his test) on the part of the
test I saw. Congrats to Brian and Amy (Rusty and Money's people)
too! I highly encourage everyone to test for the CGC and get out
there with your dogs! Best Regards, Jason, Angel CGC, and Honey
