I was notified today (May 2) that Cafepress is going to discontinue the custom postage product. Right now you can find custom stamps at http://store.pitbulllovers.com They feature my dogs Honey and Angel. Sadly this is one of my favorite products and Cafepress is going to mark them as "no longer available" on May 9th. That's only 7 days from now. I thought I would let you know if you have ordered or would like to order some custom stamps from with the PitBullLovers.com dogs on them. They are the inspiration for the site and my passion for the American Pit Bull Terrier. The URL again is: http://store.pitbulllovers.com I have also posted a new blog posting at: http://www.pitbulllovers.com/pitbullblog/ The post is my take on a "Pit Bull Warning" blog post that a subscriber brought to my attention today. Not only does this person claim to be a dog trainer they basically feed every lie told about the American Pit Bull Terrier and "pit bulls" in general. Like they are bred to hurt people and are only good for hurting people etc... One person commented that these dogs make poor guard dogs because you can not control them. Sad to say the least. The blog posting is just another reason why we owners are becoming jaded to these attacks and ignorant comments. On a more postiive note I have been in contact with one Mr. Castillo. A city commissioner in Pembroke Pines Florida. Mr. Castillo contacted me for advice on the situation in his city. A recent rise in Pit Bull attacks have become a problem. I would like to applaud Mr. Castillo for trying to find a non-breed specific solution to the problem. Frankly it was quite surprising to get such an email from a city official asking for sound advice rather than jumping the gun and following the herd of ignorant government officials that put BSL at the top of the list. Hope for our breed? There is always hope my friends. Have a great day and thanks for being a reader. Best Regards, Jason Mann, Angel ThD/CGC, Honey, and Patch the Mutt.
