------------------------------------------------------------ Dear
Friend, I wanted to drop you a line today and tell you that my
little Angel is 5 years old today! Wow how time flies. It seems
like yesterday that she was exploring her new home (with me) and
getting used to all the new smells in her world. I miss how little
she was and cute, lordy me, I was (and still am) melted by her "who
me?" look. Now she's a grown up adult that is still learning new
things and exploring new smells in her world. I'm so happy to be
able to report that she is now a happy, healthy, 5 year old
hopefully with many more birthdays to come. This may seem sappy to
sum, but I thank God I have the privilege (yes, the privilege) to
be able to share every single day with my girls. Every day they are
healthy and we are safe from BSL and other laws is a day that I
relish. Now for the really sappy part, a poem. The night I met you
was cold and dark. The snow was on the ground as we passed the
park. You were shy and timid and unsure of this place. Yet you
still found the courage to lick my face. You tongue was soft and
your coat was too. I was smitten, no, I had fallen in love with
you. Not even big enough to bark deep and loud. To this day you
make me proud. You are my Angel that is how you got your name. I
wouldn't trade or sell your for nothing, not even fortune and fame.
You are not my "pet" you are my friend. I will always be here for
you, till the very end. For those who know why I feel the way I do.
You do not have to ask, "is he a fool?" For you know what it is
like to love a Pit Bull. --- A Poem by Jason Mann Happy Birthday
Angel and to those owners who's Pit Bulls are getting a little
older, keep your chins up and tails high. Have a great day! Best
Regards, Jason, Angel (aka Birthday girl) and Honey
