------------------------------------------------------------ Dear
Friend, I wanted to let you know that I have been updating the site
over the past few days. Loads of new stuff is located at the site
and you can access this information through the new search box on
the home page or by visiting the site map.
http://www.PitBullLovers.com (The search box is under "Getting
Started" at the bottom half of the page)
http://www.PitBullLovers.com/site-map.html Announcing a new format
for the Gazette. From this month forward you will be able to read
the Gazette in two formats. 1. Email. This format has not changed.
2. NEW: Adobe PDF format. This format you can download to your
computer and print out if you like. The new format will have
pictures and other images along with live web site links you can
click and visit (have to be connected to the web). The adobe
acrobat reader is free and you can download your copy at the
following web site address:
http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html Stay tuned to
the Gazette this fall and winter as you will learn about 3 new
monster APBT projects that are aimed at making our community a much
better place. Now a word from me... I would like to share a little
more about myself with you today because a lot of the time we get
cold, non-human responses from the web. The web is a wonderful
place for sure, but without that person on the other end of the
computer the web is nothing. This is why I take it upon myself to
address your issues personally. On a one-on-one basis. When you
send me an email you are getting a response from ME. Not a machine,
not another person, but from me personally. This is one thing that
sets PitBullLovers.com apart from the gazillion other Pit Bull
sites. As you get to know me you will find a few things about me
that are consistent. 1. I don't pull punches and I don't hold back
when it comes to Pit bulls, the problems we face, training, and
especially breeding. 2. I am a believer in God and myself and I
believe in YOU too. 3. I am a firm believer in common sense when it
comes to life. Common sense plays a major role in APBT ownership.
One reason we have so many problems is people fail to use their God
giving common sense to avoid problems. We know for a fact that
APBT's are dog aggressive to some extent, yet, every day people put
two dogs that are strangers together and then wonder why they don't
get along. This is one example of how common sense is essential to
APBT ownership. 4. My goal with PitBullLovers.com is to make WIDE
SPREAD AND MAJOR changes in the Pit Bull community. Every single
article, word, period and line of the site is devoted to teaching
responsible ownership and breed awareness to as many people as
possible. 5. Finally, I have been told my stance on breeding and my
stance on the breed are not pure for various reasons. Most of these
people who tell me such things are breeders. Ironic huh? lol. Not
really but you know, they have to strike out at someone. Let it be
me. I welcome it. I am here to stay. I have seen hundreds of owners
come and go. Switch breeds, dump their dogs, and whine about how
its just not fair when it comes to BSL. Well, life isn't easy. We
live by laws that are set by US, the people. The only way we can
change the laws is to suck it up and start fighting back. In short,
I want to end this email with three words. Take Action Now. Best
Regards, Jason, Angel, Honey and the foster Leo the Lion
